AIert ("the App", "we", "us") is an independent app that monitors the operational status of third‑party AI services and notifies you when the status of services you choose changes. AIert is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the providers it monitors.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and why.

We are committed to minimal data collection. The App does not require an account, and we do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or any information that directly identifies you.

Information We Process

While we do not collect directly identifying personal information, the App uses the services below, which process limited technical data.

1. Push Notifications

To deliver the status notifications you subscribe to, the App generates a random device identifier (a UUID stored on your device) and uses a push token provided by the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) through Firebase Cloud Messaging. This identifier, the push token, and your notification preferences (which services you chose to be notified about) are sent to our server solely to route the correct notifications to your device. They are not linked to your real‑world identity.

2. Analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the App is used (for example, app launches, screens viewed, and which features are used) so we can improve it. This data is pseudonymous and is not used to identify you. The App does not request tracking permission and does not use the device's advertising identifier (IDFA).

3. Crash and Diagnostic Reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to receive automatic crash reports and basic diagnostic information (such as device model, operating system version, and the App's state at the time of a crash) so we can find and fix bugs.

Third‑Party Services

The services above are provided by Google (Firebase). Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies:
